About Me

Hi! I’m Ryan Wadhwa, a senior at Greenwich High School who loves tackling new challenges—whether in the gym or the lab. I’m passionate about soccer, volleyball, and fitness, and I value time with friends. Whether it’s scoring a goal, hitting a personal best, or sharing a laugh, I believe teamwork and balance make life meaningful.

I’m part of Leaders of the Next Generation, a student-led organization where I provide free tutoring and raise awareness about environmental sustainability through projects with the Audubon Society. My next project focuses on supporting kids fighting cancer—a cause very close to my heart. I’m also a youth leader at Arya Samaj, following the values of Swami Dayanand Saraswati ji, promoting women’s rights, critical thinking, and social reform. Serving others makes me happy, and I hope to continue these efforts in college.

Science and research have been my biggest passions. I’ve completed several projects, earning awards for my work, including third prize in Computer Science at the Connecticut Science and Engineering Fair for a deepfake detection system I designed. I also founded and lead a Robotics Camp, teaching students to build robotic cars and arms, guiding them through circuits, programming, and hands-on projects. Living with my grandmothers has given me insight into the challenges seniors face, inspiring me to create tools that help protect vulnerable communities from misleading content online. I’m driven to use technology and engineering to combine innovation with empathy and real-world impact.

Community, curiosity, and connection drive me—whether on the field, at the temple, or behind a computer. I’m motivated by the desire to make a meaningful difference wherever I can.
